How can I find emergency counseling?
AmySue asked:
I’ve already been to the ER & they sent me home because I’m not going to harm myself or anyone else. I want someone to talk to about my how sad I am all the time. I’ve stopped eating. I made an appointment with a new counselor next week, but I want to talk to someone now. This sadness becomes more unbearable by the day. What is the best way to find emergency counseling in my area?

If you live in the US. The state usually provides these types of services. However, you could just Google your nearest counseling center, call them and ask the receptionist if there is one in your area… they are usually helpful with stuff like that. Good Luck, and beware the happy pills… or more so, the side effects…

If you have a similar set up in the US, then there is probably a 24 hour phone line for people in distress (but you will need to google) that could give you instant access to someone for a chat at least. Get well soon.

At the earliest I am available for you tonight after 6pm, that is British time. You can contact me via the yahoo. And than we take it from there. I am a counsellor at (that is an online service)
What you can do in the mean time is write down everything that comes up in your head, how you feel etc.
