What is the best strategy to convince my wife to go to marriage counseling with me?

tell her you still care about her and are trying to save your marriage, you hope she is interested if so then show up for the marriage counselor appointment at blank o clock.

If you can get her family to support the idea, you have a shot. If her family is backing her leaving you… sorry to say; but your likely hood of success is extremely low.
