K asked:
I realize I have a lot of issues. I need to go to counseling but I have very little money. Most of it all goes to school and gas. Mental health or one on one relationship counseling would be great.

Fran W asked:
Can a person live with an imbalance their entire life or does life get better after the chemicals in your brain stabilize.
I have suffered with this depression for years and have gone on meds recently. I was so miserable I had to and also counseling.

kyle L asked:
does anyone know how long Counseling can normally take?? I know that it varies by person, but my Ex is going thru counseling right now for a past abusive relationship which happened a couple of years ago. she is 20 and has talked to me and a couple of her friends about what she had went thru, so i think that she has a pretty good handle on what happened, she just needs help to figure out how to get over it.

I’ve had an eating disorder for a while now. I’ve finally admitted this along with some other emotional issues I have to one person who is really close to me. They suggested I seek counseling through my college. By the way, I go to a big university with a large health/counseling center.

Sam asked:
i want to talk to a counselor. im 17 and going to be a senior next year. sometimes i just want to talk things out with someone, besides my family or friends. except my problem is asking my parents. well first off, my dad is a family counselor and he’ll just say talk to me. but its different. and also, if i ask, they’ll just get all worried and ask what’s wrong. nothing is wrong. i just want to talk to someone. sometimes its easier to tell someone you don’t know EVERYTHING. so…what do i do? how can i ask my parents? is there somewhere i can go for free without them knowing?

Brianna asked:
And possibly anti-depressants? My mom has them and goes to counseling like once a month. I’ve had these problems for a longggg time, I’ve just been in denial and thought I could deal with it all on my own. Well, I’m 17 and guess what, it hasn’t went away yet. Even when I’m happy I don’t smile. I know my life is not bad, but I don’t feel that way. And I’m a bit anti-social. So how do I tell her, because I’m afraid?

AmySue asked:
I’ve already been to the ER & they sent me home because I’m not going to harm myself or anyone else. I want someone to talk to about my how sad I am all the time. I’ve stopped eating. I made an appointment with a new counselor next week, but I want to talk to someone now. This sadness becomes more unbearable by the day. What is the best way to find emergency counseling in my area?
