I want to go to college for counseling or probation. How hard is the schooling i have a slight learning disability. I worked in a mental health job. Working with people on daily living skills and stuff like that. I liked it. But i need some type of a degree to further myself. Does anyone have any good ideas on a major to take up.

I kind of opened up to a close friend, and she advised that I contact my college counseling center. I go to a very large university by the way. How should I ask them for help, and what should I expect once I actually start therapy/counseling? Does anyone have any experience with college counseling?

Like I know clinical is more with serious diagnosis but all the answers I get about what counseling psychologist would do makes it seem like they would end up as a career counselor making only 40k a year. I just want a job where I can help people like a regular psychologist would, but I really couldn’t care for the serious cases of schizophrenia and such. What could/would a counseling psychologist do?

I want to to study Medicine to become a physician i don’t have very good grades my G.P.A is 3.46 and i have taken some madical classes here in High school. i got a very low score on the Act but i know that if i take it again i can do better….. so what courses should i take to prepare for med school, will i be helped at the university deciding my classes??
